There are several reasons why you might want to install Groupion on your own infrastructure, e.g. if you have already deployed the required environment beforehand. Unlike many other Software as a Service (SaaS) providers, we offer you the flexibility to deploy Groupion within your own infrastructure. Integrating Groupion into an existing environment is no trouble at all, as from the very beginning Groupion has been designed to support different platforms and to comply with standards. Groupion only requires a PHP5 runtime environment that can be realized on any common server system (e.g. Apache or Microsoft IIS). This makes Groupion independent of any specific server operating system. On the other side Groupion also supports a variety of SQL database systems so that you are not forced to use a specific system, but can choose your personal preference. With MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL it supports four of the most common database systems. |
